You can have countertops of different colors in your plan from the same supplier, or a different supplier. You can do this by altering the Select model options for the specific countertop piece and selecting a new countertop color.
Take the following steps to achieve this:
Selecting a different color/material from the same supplier
This will only work if the supplier catalogue you are using provides multiple countertop colors/materials.
- In your Alternative, click on the Countertop scheme mode icon in the Toolbar.
- In the Countertop codes window or plan, ensure that the part of countertop you want a different color/material for is separate to the other countertop pieces. If it isn't you will need to insert a joint to create a separate piece.
- Select the countertop piece you want to alter the color/material of.
- Right-click and go to Change Model and select Special.
- In the Select model window, click on the Countertop color or material drop-down and select the new option.
- Click OK to confirm.
Once you have made the new selection, it will be saved as an option in your plan. Right-click on a new piece of countertop and go to Change model to see the saved selection.
