In Winner, it is possible to create custom Terms and Conditions that can be automatically printed at the end of documents, such as quotations and sales contracts. This is accessed via your computer's own Operating System (OS), such as Windows.
Note! The user's PC must have Microsoft Word installed.
Note!: For Flex users the terms and conditions can be synchronised to all users in the same shop. For more information see Winner Flex: Synchronisation of my forms.
To create custom Terms and Conditions:
- Exit Winner.
Note: If Winner is on a network installation, exit Winner on every workstation.
- Open the folder OS(C:)\Winner\DB\Forms\001.
Note: If Winner was not installed in OS (C:), for example on an external hard drive, the file path will be different.
- Right-click the file, which will for example in the UK be named individual_text.rti and select Open with > Microsoft Word.
NOTE!: Please contact your local support to get the correct file name for your region.
- Enter the text for the custom Terms and Conditions.
-
Save the document and exit Microsoft Word.
Note: Take note of where the Word document was saved.
- In File Explorer, right-click on the saved Word document and select Rename.
Change the file extension from .rtf to .rti or .002 if you do not want a signature line added at the end.
Note: If the file extension is not visible, click the View tab and tick the box next to File name extensions.
- Right-click the renamed Word document and select Copy.
- Go to OS(C:)\Winner\DB\Forms\001, right-click and select Paste.
- In Replace or skip files, select Replace the file in the destination.
- Open Winner.
- At Project level, select an Alternative and click the Calculator icon:
- In the Quotation window, click the Quotation button and select Print quotation.
- In Select form: quotation, click the Customise button.
- In the Layout customisation window click the End section drop-down box, and select either:
If you saved as an .rti - All terms fields with signature line and own Text
If you saved as an .002 - You will see the file name you saved as with .002 at the end
Note: Ticking the box Save to system settings at the bottom left will save this format, and the customised Terms and Conditions will appear on all future printouts.
Note: You can also add custom Terms and Conditions to a Sales contract using the same method. For more information, see Printing: Print sales contract.
