Removing an upstand from a single countertop edge

You can remove an upstand from a single countertop edge by taking the following steps:

1. In your Alternative, click on the Countertop scheme mode icon in the Toolbar.
   
   
   
   
2. In the Countertop plan window, click on the countertop edge from which you want to remove the upstand.  The edge will now be highlighted in red.
   
   
3. Right-click and select Properties.
   
   
4. In the Edge properties window, there are two sections:
   Edge Shape
   Edge Properties
   
   
5. In the Edge Properties section, select Back edge and tick the Can't have upstand box.
   
   
6. Click OK to confirm.

In case where the countertop is coded before the upstand is removed, the calculation for upstands will automatically be updated.
