When an object has been placed in a room, you can rotate it horizontally. The following instructions show you how to rotate an object freely and how to enter a specific angle of rotation.
Rotate an object freely with the mouse
- Click the object you want to rotate.

Right-click the item and select Rotate
OR
Select the object and click the rotate icon on the toolbar:
The rotation symbols appear next to one of the object's angles in the plane.
- Click the left mouse button on one of these rotational arrows, hold the mouse button down and rotate your object.
At the bottom left on your screen, you will see the number of degrees of rotation.
Note: Rotation is done in 45-degree intervals. By combining the CTRL, SHIFT or CTRL+SHIFT keys, you reduce these intervals during rotation.
- If you want to move the centre of the rotation, you can click the small circle representing the rotation axis, hold the left mouse button down, and drag it to the new location as shown in the examples below:
Rotate an object by defining a specific angle
- Select the object you want to rotate.

Right-click the item and select Rotate or use the icon:

Double-click with the left mouse button the rotation axis, which is represented by a small circle.

In the Rotate selection window, type in the desired rotation angle, then click the OK button.
