The article browser tool has been enhanced with innovative features designed to improve efficiency and elevate the design experience.
This article gives instructions on how to use the catalog browser to place an item.
Note: for ease of use all icons in the browser display a tooltip if you hover over them.
To place an item
- Either manually place your cursor or use the Cursor tab, in the catalog browser, where you can also set the height of the item.
- Select the Browser tab and the required catalog. The units will be displayed as 3D images or a list to change the display see article Catalogue Browser: Display options.
- You can enter the product code if known or to narrow down your search use one of the various methods to filter the catalog. For more information click here.
- To see more information on the selected unit click the
symbol, this will display a larger image and detailed information about the unit.
- Select the required unit and click on Add in the bottom right of the browser.
- The unit will be placed in the plan. If you want the same unit again click Add again.
Note: The last used items appear at the top of the browser item list.
