If covering panels are automatically added to a design, see How to create covering panels, they are usually added as one continuous piece of material. To cut them into individual pieces to be ordered from the manufacturer, or to join pieces that were drawn individually, covering panels can be cut or joined manually in the Covering scheme mode.
Cutting covering panels
In Covering scheme mode,
- Click the Insert joint icon:
- Left-click once to mark the start point of the joint.
Note: Left-click and hold the mouse key to be able to move the point around. Let go of the mouse key once it's positioned correctly. - Left-click again to mark the end point of the joint.
- If applicable, specify Butt joint or Curved joint and click OK.
Joining covering panels
In Covering scheme mode,
- Highlight the joint by left-clicking on it.
- Hit the Delete key or click the Remove joint icon:
