Winner Design and Winner Flex

Choose between Private and Shared favourites 

Share favourite design items in a catalogue company wide. There is now an additional option to see only the favourites that you have tagged or, to view the favourites selected by your colleagues across the company. Select the Search Settings and select the option Favourites location, here you will have 2 options Private or Shared for all users. This information will be stored in a new folder created within your Winner folder: Winner\DB\Products\Favourites. For more information on how to filter on favourites click here. 

Improved Cost Price calculation of customised item lines

We’ve improved how cost prices are calculated to avoid negative costs and ensure accurate margins, especially when working with discounts and customised item lines. 

For non-catalogue customised item lines the Cost price followed the Sales price. If the customised items option was configured in the Project defaults the Cost Price was calculated using the fixed margin. This caused problems when manually adjusting sales prices specifically with negative amounts (discounts) as it could result in a negative Cost price to be calculated, leading to incorrect profit calculations. With this update the Cost price can never go below 0 (unless you override this manually) even in cases where negative sales prices are applied.   

When inserting a catalogue item into the quotation the cost price will always follow the indexes set for the catalogue. However, if a catalogue item was marked as Customised and the price changed before inserting the item, it would follow the logic of a non-catalogue item, causing inconsistent and incorrect Cost prices. In this update the Cost price will always follow the catalogue index setting.

Allow overwriting designs in the status Quotation Sent

Until now, users with restricted permissions to overwrite write-protected designs were also prevented from overwriting designs that had reached the Quotation Sent stage. In many cases, this behavior is the desired and intended effect. To offer more flexibility in managing designs during the quotation phase, a new system setting, Always allow to overwrite designs that are in quotation stage, has been introduced. When enabled, restricted users can continue editing designs in the Quotation Sent stage without needing to create a new design version. Write protection for later stages, such as after a sales contract, remains unchanged.
This allows companies to align permissions more closely with their individual sales processes, reduce unnecessary duplicate designs, and keep workflows smooth even after a quotation has been sent. 

New business rule for Block calculations

In the System settings for Quotation you can select an option to set Winner to automatically propose the best block calculation. Previously it would pre-select this option only on the first time you went into the Block calculation window, and would then revert to Keep selected block. The business rule has been updated in this release to now keep the option Find the best block as the pre-selected option up until you have manually changed block discount settings or selected another block, or when the design has the status Quotation sent. Date format in Winner now matches your PC settings

The date format in Winner was displayed as dd/mm/yyyy in Winner, this would then cause a discrepancy for users who use a different format, such as mm/dd/yyyy. Winner will now look at settings of the PC it is installed on and follow that format.
