In Winner, users can change the direction of patterned finishes, for example rotating wood grain, stone marbling and masonry, on a single unit or individual elements of a unit. For example, elements such as doors, drawers or veneering. Materials assigned to room surfaces such as walls, floors and ceilings can also be rotated.

Change the pattern direction of a single unit
At Alternative level, in Furnishing mode:
- Left-click on the unit.
- Click the Edit colour settings for room and objects icon:
- In the Assign material to surface window, left-click the desired surface.
- Under Override size/rotation, at the right of the window, enter a number in degrees in the Rotation field.
Note: For example entering 90 = 90° of rotation. - Click OK.
Change the pattern direction of individual elements
At Alternative level, in Furnishing mode:
- Left-click on the unit.
- Click the Edit colour settings for room and objects icon:
- In the Assign material to surface window, left-click the drop-down box at the top of the window and select the desired element.
- In the Name column, left-click select the desired surface.
- Under Override size/rotation, at the right of the window, enter a number in degrees in the Rotation field.
Note: For example, entering 90 = 90° of rotation. - Click OK.
Change the pattern direction of materials assigned to room surfaces
At Alternative level, in Room definition mode:
- Click the Edit colour settings for room and objects icon:
Note: To rotate the assigned material of a single wall, left-click to select the wall before clicking the icon. - In the Assign material to surface window, left-click the desired surface.
- Under Override size/rotation, at the right of the window, enter a number in degrees in the Rotation field.
Note: For example, entering 90 = 90° of rotation. - Click OK.
