Available from version 12.6a2, helping you design more quickly and consistently across projects. Picklists provide a dedicated workspace where you can create, import, and reuse collections of catalogue items.
Benefits of using a Picklist over a Macro or Favourites:
- Lists resolve automatically against your latest installed catalogues.
- Items from previous catalogue versions show a warning and cannot be placed.
- If a supplier catalogue is missing, the system shows the message Catalogue not available.
- Items not available are marked clearly with warning icons.
- Quickly switch between saved lists from a dropdown.
- Load multiple picklists into the Picklist workspace.
- Add individual items to your design with one click.
- See which items are already inserted.
In an open design:
- In the catalogue browser select the catalogue required and go to the item to add to a Picklist.
- Select the icon in the bottom left corner to add the item to a Picklist. Add as many items as required from multiple catalogues and categories as you require.
- Select the Manage Picklists icon in the bottom left corner of the Picklist tab.
- Select Save as new Picklist next to the List name.
- Give the picklist a name and select to either save it as a Private or Shared Picklist.
