In this article you will learn how to communicate with a customer from the Showcase platform, how your customer can interact with the platform, how to interact with messages from within Winner and access via mobile devices.
One of the main advantages of Compusoft Showcase Collaborate is the ability to keep in touch with your customers through the communication platform.
- This simplifies the communication between you and your customer concerning their project.
- The messages are saved throughout the discussion.
This simple and fast communication tool reduces the possibility of error and misunderstanding, and helps the customer in making their decision.
Interaction on the Showcase 360 platform
Interaction can take place throughout the entire period that your customer has access to their Showcase platform - duration defined by the seller at the time of publication to the Showcase. There is no limit on how many messages can be sent and attachments can be added at any time.
To communicate with the customer via the platform
- Open the plan on the Showcase platform.
- Click on Messages:
- Add a new message by clicking the + sign.
- Enter your message into the text field and click on SEND MESSAGE.
Your customer will receive an email with the link to the message on the Showcase platform. They can reply to it via the platform.
The message will appear in the message list. By clicking on the message area, the entire content of the message will be displayed.
Note: When a plan is newly published in the Showcase, no message is attached to it.
Your customer's interaction with the Showcase 360 platform
Your customer will receive, an automatically generated email informing them that they received a new message from you.
When your customer opens the received link, your message will open automatically in their personal Showcase Platform space. They can also see any previous messages you might have sent.
In this window your customer has three options:
- By clicking on Messages, the customer can simply reply to the message that you sent them.
- By clicking on Comment and add current view the customer can point out a specific element in the image, comment on it and Send their comment as a message.
- By clicking on Load picture, the customer can upload a picture (e.g. from their current kitchen) from their own files (PDF or Image) and Send it to you.
As soon as you reply to a message, the customer will receive an email and will see the message appear in the dialogue window on the Showcase platform.
Note: The Web Viewer is designed to be usable on any system (Windows, iOS, Android, ...). If the plan is opened on a mobile device, the uploaded 360° view can be viewed with VR glasses.
Interaction on the Showcase 360 platform within Winner
When the client replies to you, you are informed directly from Winner. You can access their message by:
- Clicking on the Unread messages in Showcase 360 icon:
Note: This will appear with a red dot on it if there are any unread messages. The dot will disappear once you have read the message(s).
You can see the message and reply to it directly.
You can view the applicable plan by clicking on the Go to related plan icon while on the displayed message:
When you have completed a discussion with your customer and to avoid cluttering the platform, you can archive the messages by clicking on the Archive messages icon:
You can find the archived messages by clicking on the ARCHIVED tab. - Clicking on the Show messages linked to the alternative icon:
When you click on this icon, you access the messages sent for the selected alternative.
By clicking on the number of messages, you open the history of all the messages concerning the plan.
You can send a new message, reply to your customer or attach a file such as a picture, a plan, a perspective or any other document previously stored on your computer.
- Via the Showcase 360 homepage by clicking on the Showcase icon:
Clicking on this icon will take you to your Showcase 360 homepage with a number framed in red appearing on the MESSAGES button.
This means that you have at least one unread message on your Showcase Collaborate platform.
When you click on the MESSAGE button, you will see all messages in the current chat with the latest one at the bottom.
Note: There is another icon on the Winner toolbar, Requests in Showcase 360:

Interaction on the Showcase 360 platform via mobile devices
If you want to access your Showcase 360 platform from your mobile devices (laptop, tablet or smartphone):
Either click on the link received by email and enter your Showcase login details.
