Changes have been made to block calculation screen for the following reasons:
- The window has become more self-explanatory.
- We have merged the two windows with the block selection and calculation details into one window. This will enable you to navigate even faster between the different blocks.
- We have added the option to see the block values in the block selection area not only for electrical appliances and furniture, but also for accessories. This will enable the sales person to easily see the amount which is included in the block.
- We have added the option to show Point/Book prices. The advantage of showing the prices based on the sales manual is that a sales person can easily see the block values and the unused block amount based on the sales manual / point prices. This simplifies the sales process if you want to compare e.g. the unused amount for electrical appliances with e.g. the sales price of an appliance in the sales manual. Compare on the same price basis and see immediately, if the article with the price from sales manual is still included in the block.
- Important: All changes we have implemented will not alter the business logic and the way a block is calculated.
This is what the window now looks like:
- In area 1 of the window when you select a specific block in the list, it highlights it in beige and shows its composition in the bottom left of the window area 2.
- Area 2 of the window shows the detail of the composition of each block. Each block is broken down into groups of articles so you can see the structure of the pricing:
- Area 3 of the window shows a breakdown of the discount totals and quotation totals:
Contents of the drop down Block discount button (highlighted above), this allows you to choose how you want to apply the discount(s). - Area 4 of the window allows you to choose how the prices are displayed in the calculation areas:
If you select Show purchase prices the Cost diff column will appear in area 1. This enables the sales person to easily see the difference between the buying price from the selected block, to the next block:
