In Winner, users can create two text messages that appear on print forms such as quotations, sales contracts, orders and invoices. Depending on the printout layout chosen in the Select form window, Message #1 will appear first and Message #2 will appear second. For example, Message #1 may appear before the item lines on a quotation form and Message #2 may appear afterwards.
These messages can be set for new projects and alternatives, and for existing projects and alternatives.
New projects and alternatives
At Project level:
- Select Global settings > Project defaults.
- In the Project defaults window, select the Messages on printouts tab.
- Under the Messages on printouts tab, select the Message #1 or Message #2 tab.
- Click the Printout type drop-down box and select a print form.
- Type the message into the text field.
- Click OK to save the changes and close the window.
Existing projects and alternatives
At Project level:
- Select Project > Open and select an existing Project.
- Select an Alternative.
- Select a printout. For this example, a Quotation.
- Click the Quotation drop-down box and select Print quotation.
Note: In the Confirm dialogue box, select No. - In the Select form: Quotation window, click Messages.
- In the Messages on printouts window, select the Message #1 or Message #2 tab.
- Untick the box Use values from 'Project name'.
- Type the message into the text field.
- Press OK to save the changes and close the window.
- In the Select form: Quotation window, click Close.
Note: Winner will retain changes made to messages for this form. The user can return later when ready to print, export to PDF or send via e-mail.
