How to setup Flex to integrate with Anthill

Note: Screenshots in this article are taken in the new user interface available from version 12.4a3

Integrating Anthill with Winner Flex allows you to create quotes and designs directly in Flex that automatically sync information to your Anthill system.

Important before you start please ensure:

  • You have Winner Flex installed on each machine that you want to use with Anthill.

  • Your Winner Flex account has Winner Flex API enabled - contact your Flex support team.

  • Your Winner Flex accounts have Webhooks, these are available once the Winner Flex API is enabled.

 

Step 1: How to connect accounts

To connect your Anthill and Flex accounts, you will need to complete the settings window below from Anthill integrations area.

 

Where to find the API Key

  1. On the Flex platform click on the settings icon settings.png at the bottom of the left hand menu bar.

  2. Under Admin area select Services.
  3. Select Enterprise API and the Keys will appear in the right hand side bar.

Where to find CompanyGuid

  1. On the Flex platform, click on your username at the top right and select About Flex.
  2. Under the name of your company you will find the CompanyGuid.

Step 2 Setting up Flex webhooks

Setting up the Flex Webhooks enables Flex to automatically send information to Anthill.

On the Flex platform click on the settings icon settings.png at the bottom of the left hand menu bar.

Under Admin area select Webhooks.

Under Webhooks Three actions need to be added.  Click on the Add action icon DL_insertfileicon.png

You will then see this dialog box:

Action 1 Design Created

  1. From the When event occur drop-down field select Design created.

  2. In the Action name field type Design created.

  3. URL enter in this field the URL provided by Anthill.

  4. Click Add.

Action 2 Design updated

  1. From the When event occur drop-down field select Design updated.

  2. In the Action name field type Design updated.

  3. URL enter in this field the URL provided by Anthill.

  4. Click Add.

 

Action 3 Document created

  1. From the When event occur drop-down field select Document created.

  2. In the Action name field type Document created.

  3. URL enter in this field the URL provided by Anthill.

  4. Click Add.
