How can I show hinges in the elevation view?

The hinge symbols on door fronts are deactivated by default. You can add the symbols by following the steps below:

To show them in one Alternative

1. Open Global settings on the Menu bar.
   
   
2. Open the System settings and select the Drawing tab.
   
   
3. In the Elevation view section select *Show hinge symbol on door fronts. The symbol * in front of the setting means, you are changing it for the current open alternative.
   
   
4. Click OK
   
   

To show them for all Alternatives

If you want to change it globally (for all Alternatives), follow the steps above but at Project level.
