You can select suggested accessories which are associated with an article using linked codes with the Sales assistant tool. This allows users to select optional extras in the Catalogue browser or the Quotation window. This feature is useful for upselling, and you can also access metadata such as PDF documents JPG images and web links, which can be displayed on a second screen for your customer.
At Design level:
- Click the Calculator icon:

In the catalogue browser select the Sales Assistant icon and skip to step 3:
- In the Quotation window, click the Sales assistant drop-down menu, located at the bottom centre right of the window, and select Linked codes overview.
- In the Linked codes - overview window, you can:
- Expand item groups by clicking the associated drop-down menu for example, Furniture.
- Under an expanded item group, you can see the articles included in the quotation and their Position number.
- Alongside the articles, you can see all the linked Optional extra codes associated with that particular item. You are able to add optional extras by clicking the tick boxes and using the drop-down menus to select an amount.
- You can click an image to open a Preview window, which can be moved to a second screen and maximised to show the customer.
- Select the icon
in the preview window to see the sales manual pdf. This feature is catalogue dependent.
- Expand item groups by clicking the associated drop-down menu for example, Furniture.
- Once you have made your selections, click OK. Selected optional extras will be added to the quotation.
